Talking About Vulnerability To Gum Disease

If you wonder who easily gets gum disease, then you should know that people do not usually show signs of gum disease until they reach the age of 30s or 40s. Studies shows that men are more susceptible to gum disease than women. It can be rare for teenagers to develop periodontitis, however they are prone to develop gingivitis which is the milder form of gum disease. But when plaque is allowed to build up along and under the lining of the gums, gum disease can commonly develop. All you need to think about is what can you do to prevent gum disease. It is a good idea to brush teeth twice a day, do daily flossing, visit the dentist regularly for dental cleaning, eat a proper diet and avoid the use of tobacco products to prevent gum disease development.
